Reopening the Camp

Ever since we opened the camp in 2017, the longest we’d been away from it had been 3 weeks. That was till March this year when we had to shut the camp at short notice and come away. Earlier this week, we returned to it after 4 months. While we are looking forward to seeing our cats again, the bushbuck who has made herself comfortable in our camp was on top of our minds. Would we see her again? I’m glad to say that we spotted her late this evening in the bushes by the Olare Lemuny stream that flows past our camp. Well begun, as they say, is half done.
